Hallo Harold Levine:
I am 60 years old and a former business consultant and was working also some times in Austin, TX. Now I am back in Switzerland and try to establish a business concept for the SwissJazzOrama – the only one Swiss Jazz Museum. As the name says we concentrate on Jazz and Swing similar to Radio Swing Worldwide. The problem is money and sponsoring of our work and the main problem however is, how to keep old media in shape and collect professionally – not so the old 78 discs – but the magnetic tapes. We have not much professional support from technicians or non from official swiss side. Of course we know about how that could be done, but there are no ressources to save the old tapes. On the other side there would be no good to save on CD neither. So, the only way would be to remaster professionally and save on redundant harddisks, which are kept moving. But who could digitalize tons of stuff in our collection of old mostly European Jazz and Swing from the beginning of time… What could be a business concept and most important: How could we share insights and business to saveguard important pieces from the history of music.
Best personal regards,
Roger J. Zamofing BBA

Dear Harold,
I love your Radio Swing Worldwide stream!!! A friend from the SLUUG mailing list posted a message about it and I jumped on it since I love the 30’s and 40’s oldies! Thanks for a great service and keep it up.

I’m enjoying your radio streams very much. Do you have any plans to launch other stations?

Just wanted to congratulate you on your Radio Bop station. It’s become a listening habit for me through Tunein Ipod docked to my Audio system. Tremendous variety of music from the 50s and 60s. In my early 70s I can really relate to this music as it has the ability to send me back to that magical time and the memories that go with it. One suggestion. Although you do provide some Doo Wop in your playlists, I would enjoy some additional Doo Wop music. Again, wonderful station. Keep up the good work.

Love Radio Swing Worldwide, I had been hunting to find a station this good and I listen to it as often as spare time allows me. In amongst all the “samey” stations I know I can rely on this one to step back in time.
